A Candlelight Vigil Across the Internet On December 6, 1989, fourteen women were killed for being "feminists" at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. This tragedy in Canadian history has not been forgotten. The aim of this project is to raise awareness of violence against women across Canada and throughout cyberspace, by presenting this Candlelight vigil across the Internet. |
