Since its entrance into the commercial arena, the Internet, also known as the World Wide Web, has become a mecca for shoppers, tourists, and world travelers to the hundreds of thousands of corporate, public, government and educational sites "on the net."

Many of these sites are owned by women entrepreneurs. To have a "room of their own" many of these women have united and established communities and forums that span the globe, providing a common ground for the exchange of business and information networking.

These women have a shared vision and a common dream: to realize their own potential as business owners, and to become a viable part of the new global marketplace.
