The new uncharted territory for women is a cross between women's Victorian style parlors and networking of the '80s. Women have accessed the power of the keyboard and are making their mark on the newest communication medium -- the World Wide Web. The web has given the concept of networking a whole new meaning to women in the '90s. No longer is networking about cocktail hour at the office party or the local bar, it is now much more sophisticated. We can reach out beyond our boundaries and paradigms and gain knowledge and experience from our sisters across the globe - without even having to deal with the annoying office geek from down the hall. Women are on our own, and on our own turf.

This is no longer a man's world, and neither is the web. Although a virgin surf can appear to be a bit drab, once a woman knows where she is headed nothing male is to be found for cyber miles (unless you want to). Sites filled with women's resources, information on sex, health, banking and everything in between are created by women and are just waiting for unsuspecting souls to grab their keyboards and join their sisters in exploring the new frontier.
