| Dr. Stuart has published 3 books to date. She is currently working on a collection of essays. Her writings reflect her observations on the interdynamics of communication, the veins of passion and humor, and the character of fate, three ingredients she deems as vital to a person's positive actuation in life. Dr. Stuart holds a B.A. degree in English and History, an M.A. in Communications, and a Ph.D. in Literature and Psychology. |
| TEACHINGS |
| Dr. Stuart has appeared as a guest lecturer and professor in residence at over a dozen colleges and universities in the eastern United States. She has led workshops and seminars on topics as diverse as "Building Self-Esteem," "Diffusing Anger," "Communicating Between the Sexes," "Communicating Interpersonally," "Reaching One's Potential," and "Career Definition." Presently, she works as a motivational and communications consultant in the corporate sector and with educational institutions. | PHILOSOPHY | |
| Dr. Stuart says her philosophy and approach to life's challenges is simple: "Take the talents with which you have been bestowed, hone your powers of sight and sound (listening and observing), then pounce on each new experience with which life greets you with all the skill and fortitude you can muster." Dr. Stuart feels the reason most people do not reach their potential in life is because they either do not know what their raw talents are, have not sharpened their powers of observation and perception, or are afraid to put themself on the offensive.
